- Inherent flame retardent fabric, light weight and durable
- 6.0 oz. DuPont™ Nomex® IIIA (aramid)
- Navy standard stock item
- Heavy duty brass zipper with Nomex® tape
- A 4" long dart is placed at the top of each back portion
- Two (2) 7½" wide by 7½" deep large double stitched hip pockets with flap secured closed with hook and loop
- Two (2) large 13½" deep quarter-cut front hand pockets
- Double stitched reinforced knee patches
- Two (2) bellow style cargo pockets 10" wide by 6¾" deep with flaps secured with hook and loop
- Boot sized leg openings 23" for quick "overboot" doning, with adjustable strap, hook and loop closure to ensure tight seal
- Two piece waistband 2" wide
- Eight belt loops 7/16" wide by 2½" long
- Twenty-eight (28) reinforced bartacks at all stress points for added seam strength, to prevent seam slipage and tearing
- Sewn throughout with Nomex® type II high performance thread
- All major and minor seams exceed the minimum test requirements
